About the artwork

At the center of the classic tondo is a fire-breathing face. The head is formed from several pieces of stone. Numerous small fires flare up where one suspects hair. The tondo is lined with burned trees. The sky shines in glowing colors, from white to yellow to dark orange. The painting has a custom-made model frame and a passe-partout. The artist has titled, dated and signed the oil painting on the reverse.
