About the artwork

In the center of the tondo is a small bird sitting on a mountain of boulders and marveling at a small green bud. The peaceful appearance of the picture is underlined by the light blue spring sky, the landscape and the blue mountains. The tondo is a circular picture painted into a square painting. The tondo is surrounded by realistically painted green plants. The work has a custom-made model frame.
