About the artwork
A bird stretches up from its protective hole in the ground and strives with its open beak towards the bright grape. The tondo is a circular picture painted into a square painting. The tondi is lined with extremely realistic painted grape leaves. The painting has a custom-made model frame with gold leaf applications and is dated and signed on the back.
